Vocal training is a primary part of my work as the conductor of the Choir.
The work in the rehearsals hall is aimed at building a”common language” whose codes reflect the manner in which I conduct. All of us, myself and the Choir members become one body whose goal is to put emotion in the vocal performance. Everyone take responsibility for the production of the sound and its ultimate quality.
I believe in “Sound with a Soul”– a sound that contains “earth” and “wind”, physical and spiritual. The function of man is to connect to others and together search for the “added quality” that only man can contribute.
There is no separation between the conductor’s jobs of building a professional Choir and developing the performer’s voice.
